Synopsis: Farce set in Georgian England. With the creation of the Bow Street Runners around 1750, England's higwaymen are swiftly rounded up, except for the most notorious of all: 'Big Dick' Turpin, known for the size of his weapon. Together with his cohorts he succeeds in eluding the agents of the law. By day, Turpin poses as the innocent Reverend Flasher, of the parish of Upper Dencher. When lawman Captain Desmond Fancey and Sergeant Jock Strapp are sent undercover to capture Turpin, Fancey makes the mistake of immediately revealing his plan to Reverend Flasher.
